This is what prepared feels like

We’re dedicated to reimagining resilience
and enabling organizations to master incident response.

Our Story

Our vision is to provide tabletops that fast-track your quest to master incident response and protect your crown jewels.

Ally Security was founded after extensive research conversations with over 100 security practitioners. What we found is that despite the significant cost of cyber incidents and data breaches, as an industry we are under-investing in mitigating the impact of these events. We also found a tried and true practice for mastering incident response that has often gone under-appreciated: tabletop exercises (TTX). This practice is sometimes overlooked because it's time-consuming and difficult to quickly show value; we wanted to change that.

Let's tabletop it.

Our Brand Values

Preparation

We believe preparation is more than a plan; it's a strategic quest toward resilience and mastery of incident response. Facilitators help clients stay curious, diligent, and aligned as they practice responding to incidents they will likely face in the future—helping minimize damage to their business and customers.

Imagination

We use imagination and design to transform resilience into an inspiring adventure. By combining creative storytelling with interaction and animation, we enhance the experience for Facilitators and their clients to delight them and inspire action in the organization they serve.

Expertise

We provide Facilitators with the tools they need to master incident response tabletops, enabling them to fast-track clients on the path to preparedness. We value Facilitators’ industry and technical knowledge, experience, and passion for helping clients mature their security programs.

The Path to Preparedness

TTX Facilitators guide exercise participants through a scenario, helping them to identify gaps quickly. They also guide their clients beyond the exercise, providing action items to improve IR. Finally, they lead them to the right solutions. We call this the path to preparedness.

Of course, the epic quest to improve security is difficult, but it can be made easier by a Facilitator capable of engaging clients in continuous improvement using TTX.

Ally is here to support TTX Facilitators improving engagement—creating a virtuous cycle where exercises take less time, provide more value, are run more frequently, and can make every organization better prepared.

Can’t get enough??

Neither can we. So we made a blog called Lore & Order where we chat about everything TTX and facilitation mastery.
