Our Story

Our guild seeks to equip incident response practitioners with a TTX toolkit for fast-tracking clients on the path to preparedness.

Ally Security was forged from conversations with over 100 seasoned IR practitioners. These battle-tested guides made one thing clear: The damage caused by incidents grows ever-greater, while the cyber realm continually underinvests in mitigation efforts.

But there is hope! Our dialogue with these cybersecurity masters also revealed a proven discipline, one long trusted by those who know the fight best: tabletop exercises. Yet, too often this practice is overlooked, being seen as time-heavy, difficult to scale, and slow to prove its worth. We set out to change that.

We believe preparation is more than a plan; it's a strategic quest toward resilience. The Path to Preparedness

TTX Facilitators guide exercise participants through a scenario, helping them to identify gaps quickly. From there, they lead clients beyond the tabletop, turning insight into clear actions to strengthen incident response. The final step is leading clients through the fog of war as they complete these actions and close gaps. This is the path to preparedness.

The epic quest to improve security is no easy feat, but the difficulty is lower for a Facilitator who keeps the party engaged and moving forward.
