Beth is a seasoned GRC, security, and program management professional having spent the last 15 years (and counting) honing her skills. Early in her career, Beth discovered a love for everything related to tabletop exercises. The experience of building scenarios with teams, facilitating (or orchestrating in some cases) small and large exercises, and implementing process improvements as a result of those exercises. She is passionate about ensuring organizations are realistic about their current abilities when it comes to incident response and then finding ways to improve to help bolster their security posture. She feels strongly that a properly conducted exercise can be a key differentiator to an organization thriving or sinking during a real life incident. After being in enterprise organizations for close to a decade, Beth turned to startups and found a wealth of opportunities to educate teams on incident response and address significant gaps in process, technology, and documentation.
